Detailed Door Closer Description
The 680 series is a hydraulic door closer. Suitable for left
or right hand opening doors, top jambs, and standard fixings. A hardened steel rack and
pinion mechanism is housed in an aluminum alloy body. Individual
two speed adjusting valves, used to adjust closing speed from
0 – 15o and 15 – 180o. To adjust valves turn
clockwise to slow the closing speed, counterclockwise to increase speed

c) The hardened steel rack and pinion mechanism is housed in the alloy
aluminum body
d) Reversible for both left and right handed doors
e) Universal applications for standard, top jamb, or parallel arm
installation (optional parallel )
f) Suitable for both metal and wooden doors
g) Adjustable closing speed from 15 – 80o by turning the
adjusting valve to 1
h) Adjustable latching speed from 0 - 15o by turning the
adjusting valve to 2
i) Optional adjustable back check (e except size a)
