Detailed NRE8 - 40 Electronic Type Thermal Relay Description
NRE8 electronic type thermal relay is mainly applicable to a
line of AC 50Hz / 60Hz, rated working voltage 690V and less and
current from 20A to 40A, used to protect a 3 - phase AC motor
from overload and phase - failure. Its power consumption is only 10% that of a 40A
bimetallic strip thermal relay and 5% that of a 20A bimetallic
strip thermal relay.
This product is a new type of energy - saving hi - tech electric
device. It adopts micro - controller to test wave shape
and quantity of the current, judge motor=s overload or phase - failure. When the
delay time is up, the normal close contact opens through the
action of the tripping gear, while the normal open contact is
closed.
In case of overload, the micro - controller can determine the delay
time by calculating the multiple of the over - current. In case of power - failure, the micro - controller will shorten
the delay time.
This product is in conformity to standards GB14048.4 - 93,
IEC947 - 4:1990
