N - Methylolacrylamide is white crystal in form and has a melting
point of 74 - 75oC.
Usage notes: As an organic compound, such as thermosetting resin, it is used to make various
copolymers, photo setting epoxy resin
paint, oil - resistant paint for canvas and paint for automobiles,
ships and machinery. It is soluble in water and alcohol,
and self - polymerizes to become an insoluble resin in a moist atmosphere,
especially so in acid conditions. Its copolymer emulsion is used for fabric
coating and base, leather coating, fabric arrangement, paper coating
and cotton - adhesive fabric as well as a bond to make wood adhere
to metal
As a substance N - Methylolacrylamide is a 50% liquid fluid and has
a colorless or light yellow transparent appearance.
